John Travolta got his start on the iconic television series Welcome Back, Kotter. Though, Travolta’s success owes a great deal to the 1970s mega-hits Saturday Night Fever and Grease. He was young, charismatic, and had a unique ability to dance. Millions of young girls had his posters on their walls. He appeared to have it all figured out. In the 1980s, his acting career suffered a significant hit as it seemed he couldn’t manage to secure a top part. Even when he did, the films sank without a trace. Fortunately, Travolta’s positions began to reappear.

Some claim he’s transformed from a heartthrob to a hunk of lust. Although John’s career was revived in the 1990s, due to his inclusion in 1994’s Pulp Fiction, things have not gone well for him in the appearance department. He seems to have gained weight and lost hair, as we all do from time to time. John has been roundly chastised for his presence in the newspapers, demonstrating that equality works in both directions. He’s even been attempting to disprove that he had a romantic involvement with Douglas Gotterba, his former pilot.
