Paul Walker
There is no disputing that Paul, a key character in “Fast and Furious,” is pumped full of adrenaline. While he was still alive, Paul took part in everything that was dangerous enough to give him the much-needed adrenaline rush. Of course, the first thing that comes to mind when we think about Paul is racing and fast cars. But few people know that Paul is also a serious martial artist. He trained in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai for several years, earning a brown belt in each discipline. Paul, though, was given a black belt by his BJJ instructor during his funeral. A terribly awful and depressing act.
Christian Bale
Christian Bale starred in Batman Begins. He played Batman in the fabled Dark Knight films, which are frequently regarded as the best Batman movies ever made, as the final installment of a trilogy that began with this one. An important part of this movie was its emphasis on Bruce Wayne’s early life and how his profession as a martial artist got started. In some of the earlier passages, Bale used his training from Bhutan to prove this. Batman returns to Gotham after a tough training schedule and makes great use of his martial arts skills. Do you recognize this fighting style? It explains why; it’s Wing Chun. Batman frequently used Wing Chun in early films and utilized his arms to block strikes.
