An Unhappy Chicken
This type of notice, unlike others of its sort, does not provide a description of a missing animal so that people may determine whether it is theirs or not. Therefore, it is most likely because it is impossible for that many people to have lost a chicken. Would someone, on the other hand, try to steal a chicken that wasn’t theirs? To do that would be weird. But we wouldn’t rule out the possibility that some people might actually do that.

It Just Flew Away
Since pigeons don’t stay in one location for very long and all look the same, making friends with one will be challenging. A second search for your pal is not a bad idea. Given the enormous clone army of pigeons, success is doubtful. Perhaps a corvid would be a better choice of bird for this man to keep company with. They are a far superior choice in this scenario.
