A Tiny Antelope
The mother lion was taken away by the arrival of the small antelope, which seemed to emerge out of nowhere. A New York-based photographer, Gordon Donovan, was on-site the entire time, saying: “To witness such an oddity while still being astounded was an unforgettable experience. When she captured the springbok, I was eagerly awaiting the opportunity to kill one of the lions.”
