Of course, Nancy McKeon’s portrayal of tomboy Jo Polniaczek is legendary. She was almost cast in the iconic show Friends after that. Monica was auditioned by both McKeon and Courtney Cox, but Cox was cast. McKeon stated that she had no animosity towards Cox. After that, she played the mother of Demi Lovato’s character on Disney’s Sonny with a Chance. McKeon then continued to act until his retirement in 2011.
