Alex Jensen appeared on The Big Bang Theory for a limited period of time as Sheldon’s research assistant. Instead of allowing her to assist him, Sheldon tasked her with a variety of menial tasks. Alex developed a romantic interest in Leonard, but Leonard, determined not to betray Penny, turned her down.
