Lee Starkey Today
After her mother, who died of leukemia at the age of 48, was diagnosed with cancer, Lee was found to have a brain tumor a year after her diagnosis. She was required to undergo surgery as well as radiation therapy. In 2001, though, the tumor returned, necessitating yet another round of chemotherapy and radiation. Lee’s health has, happily, improved in the intervening period. In addition to Stella McCartney’s concerts, she frequently attends her brothers’ performances (more on her later). Lee has been in a relationship with Kasabian/Beady Eye bassist Jay Mehler for quite some time now. Lee gave birth to triplets in 2009, marking the first time the Beatles had ever had triplets. It should come as no surprise that she and her family reside in London.

Stella Nina McCartney
Parents: Paul McCartney and Linda McCartney
Born: September 13, 1971
Stella’s family and their band, Wings, traveled throughout the world when she was a little child (and her siblings). According to Paul, the group’s moniker was inspired by Stella’s wobbly delivery of the song. Paul waited outside the operating room, anticipating her to arrive “on the wings of an angel,” but she was born through an emergency C-section instead of the planned method. Due to the fact that Stella is the most well-known of Paul and Linda’s daughters, it’s possible that this was a blessing in disguise. She has made a name for herself in the fashion industry and is well-known in the industry. When she was a child, she developed an early interest in fashion and sewing.
