Julian was the first of the Beatles’ children to be born, and he arrived at the same time as the band’s renown was growing. Since Julian was a youngster, he has served as the inspiration for three important Beatles songs: John Lennon’s “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” and “Good Night,” along with Paul McCartney’s “Hey Jude,” which was composed to console Julian following his parents’ divorce. After John abandoned Cynthia in favor of Yoko Ono, the father and son went through a period of divorce. They reconnected in the early 1970s after a long separation. As a result of Julian’s artistic activities, John became interested in him and purchased a guitar for him, teaching him how to play. Julian eventually decided to follow in his father’s footsteps. After that, he established a living as a singer, composer, actress, and director, in addition to his other talents.
